Typically caused by a power outage. We have two basic steps to troubleshoot.
Step 1: Unplug the USB-C cord that connects to laptop from the dock. Wait a few seconds and plug back in. Try to wake up the laptop. If that doesn't work, proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Unplug the USB-C cord that connects to laptop from the dock. Unplug power from the dock. (Usually has a blue light on the end.) Hold power for 30 seconds. Plug power into dock. Wait a few seconds. Plug USB-C cable into laptop. Power button should work now or you can leave laptop open until you see the Dell logo and a spinning circle. Then close the lid and it should proceed like normal.
